These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all purchases of outdoor tents and related accessories (including tent poles, rainflys, footprint pads, and repair kits; collectively “Products”) from CampHaven (“Company,” “we,” or “us”) via our official website, authorized retailers, or direct sales channels. By placing an order, you (“Customer,” “you”) agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms provided at checkout.

1. Order Acceptance & Confirmation

  • Your order constitutes a request to purchase Products. We reserve the right to accept, reject, or cancel orders (e.g., due to incorrect pricing, out-of-stock items, suspected fraud, or mismatched custom specifications for made-to-order tents). A binding contract is formed only when we send an “Order Confirmation” email with your order number and details.
  • For custom or made-to-order tents (e.g., personalized size adjustments, custom color combinations, or branded logos), a 40% non-refundable deposit is required upon order placement. We will provide a digital design specification sheet within 3 business days for your approval; production begins only after you confirm the details. Custom orders cannot be canceled, modified, or refunded once production starts (unless the Product is defective).

2. Payment Terms

  • We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), PayPal, Apple Pay, and Klarna (for installment plans). All payments are processed in U.S. Dollars.
  • Listed prices exclude applicable sales tax (calculated by your shipping address) and shipping fees, which are added at checkout. We may correct pricing errors (e.g., typos, system glitches) and will notify you promptly; you may cancel the order if you disagree with the revised price.
  • For Klarna installment plans, late fees or interest may apply per Klarna’s terms. Failed or declined payments may result in order cancellation, with the non-refundable deposit (for custom orders) forfeited.

3. Shipping & Delivery

  • We ship to all 50 U.S. states, Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories. Standard shipping (5–7 business days) costs $14.99; orders over $150 qualify for free standard shipping. Expedited shipping (2–3 business days) is available for $34.99; remote areas, mountain regions, or territories may incur additional freight fees (contact support@camphaven.com for a quote).
  • All tents are packaged in reinforced cardboard boxes with foam inserts and bubble wrap to protect poles, fabric, and hardware. You must inspect the package immediately upon delivery:
    • If the box is damaged, or contents (e.g., bent poles, torn fabric, missing hardware) are defective, take photos of the packaging and damaged parts, then contact us within 48 hours. We will send replacements (including full tent exchanges if needed) or issue a full refund (including shipping fees) at no cost to you.
    • Failure to report damage within 48 hours may void our responsibility for replacements or refunds.
  • Delivery dates are estimates only; we are not liable for delays caused by weather, carrier disruptions (e.g., winter storms, wildfire-related road closures), or incorrect shipping addresses provided by you.

4. Returns & Refunds

  • Eligible non-custom Products may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund (excluding original shipping fees), provided they are unused, unassembled, undamaged, and in their original packaging (including tags, instruction manuals, and all hardware).
  • To initiate a return:
    1. Request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number via our website.
    2. Ship the Products back to us (you cover return shipping costs; we recommend insured, trackable delivery—tents are bulky, so ground shipping is preferred).
    3. We will inspect the return within 5 business days of receipt. Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days if the return meets our criteria.
  • Non-returnable items include: custom/made-to-order tents (unless defective), used/assembled tents, clearance items (marked “Final Sale”), and gift cards. Tents returned with missing parts (e.g., poles, rainflys) will incur a 20–50% restocking fee (depending on the value of the missing component).

5. Product Warranty

  • All CampHaven tents come with a 2-year limited warranty against defects in materials and craftsmanship (e.g., faulty zippers, peeling waterproof coating, broken pole joints that occur under normal use).
  • The warranty does not cover:
    • Damage from misuse (e.g., setting up in extreme winds over 50mph, improper storage (mold from damp fabric), or using non-CampHaven replacement parts).
    • Normal wear and tear (e.g., minor fabric scuffs from camping on rocky ground, faded colors from prolonged UV exposure).
    • Damage caused by natural disasters (e.g., tornadoes, floods) or third-party handling (e.g., carrier errors after delivery, unless reported within 48 hours).
  • To claim warranty service: Provide your order number, photos of the defect, and a description of use. We will repair, replace, or refund the defective Product at our discretion; we cover shipping costs for warranty replacements.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content on our website (product images, descriptions, logos, tent design specifications) is owned by CampHaven and protected by U.S. copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify this content without our written permission.
  • Custom tent designs (e.g., branded logos) are licensed for your personal or business use only; you may not resell or commercialize custom-designed tents without our approval.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., canceled camping trips, lost gear due to tent failure, or inconvenience) arising from defective Products, shipping delays, or order cancellations. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price of the affected Product.

8. Changes to Terms & Dispute Resolution

  • We may update these Terms periodically; changes will be posted on our website and take effect 7 days after publication. Your continued purchases after the effective date constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.
  • Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be resolved via good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration in Oregon (per the American Arbitration Association rules) rather than litigation.
